Katie Dabson  (Trevor, WI) At 4 years old she began training at her hometown competition studio, Dance Academy of Antioch.  She later became a company member with Forum Dance Theatre, a pre-professional dance company, based at Talent Forum in Libertyville, IL.  While at Forum, Katie worked with various Chicago-based artists such as Lizzie McKenzie, Eddy Ocampo, Nick Pupillo, Autumn Eckman, Ahmad Simmons, Christian Denice, and many others. Forum performed at Dance Chicago, and toured Austria with Young Tanzsommer! in Austria.  She has performed in Regional Dance America Festivals throughout the Midwest and Canada. While training with Forum, Katie attended RiverNorth Summer Intensive and Alonzo King LINES Ballet Intensive. 

Katie graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with Honors receiving a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Health and Wellness Promotion. While at the UMN, Katie was selected to work with Sidra Bell, Brian Brooks, and Gregory Maqoma. She was also chosen to perform as a guest artist alongside Brian Brooks Dance Company in their performance at Northrop Theater in Minneapolis, MN. Since graduation, Katie has worked with dance companies in Minneapolis and Chicago along with teaching young dancers in the area. As of most recent, she is a member and performs with Movementum Dance Project and Concert Dance Inc. in Chicago.
