Martina Reed is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator, and photographer/videographer originally from Battle Creek, Michigan. After transferring from Oakland University in 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Western Michigan University in May of 2021. During this time, she performed in works by choreographers Mike Esperanza, Monique Haley, Jeremy Blair, Stephanie Pizzo, Liz Riga, Molly McMullen, Claire Little, Kaitlyn Pollock, and more. She has performed with dance companies Oakland Dance Theatre, Orchesis Dance Society, and Hip Hop ConnXion Michigan. While attending school and after graduating, Martina was a lead instructor at Center Stage Dance Studio, coached the Harper Creek High School Pom Team, and choreographed for multiple studios around southwest Michigan. Martina recently relocated to Chicago, Illinois to further her professional career. She is a dance instructor for the youth and adult program at Dance On Broadway, and is continuing her work as a freelance choreographer, photographer, and videographer. She is looking forward to joining Movementum Dance Project for their third season!
