ALYSSA SMITH

Alyssa Smith grew up in LaGrange, IL and attended Western Michigan University to pursue a BA in dance. While attending WMU, Alyssa furthered her technical training in a tri-focused Ballet, Modern, and Jazz program and worked with renowned professors and guest choreographers. She was a company member with the Western Dance Project her senior year, and taught and performed numerously throughout the Chicagoland and West Michigan areas. Alyssa was an instructor with the Universal Dance Association for six summers, and had the opportunity to work with high school athletes and coaches all throughout the Midwest. With UDA she has worked national competitions, set choreography, and traveled internationally to London, UK for the New Year’s Day Parade. Post-graduation Alyssa has shifted her focus to fitness and is a strength instructor with Studio Three. Alyssa is thrilled to be dancing with Movementum Dance Project!
